Graham Swaby found some new mates to play with in last weekend's Yellow Ball and ended up in the winning team which resulted in him becoming the Clubs newest scratch player after having his winter handicap reduced. Now Graham's off scratch for the remaining fixtures, his normal playing partners probably won't want him back!!! He played with Loz Creed who was cheered up after Man Utd's latest loss at Sunderland. Sorry Loz had to mention that after the stick you've been giving out on What's App!! John Hall & Mike Sarath were the other two players and they won with 79 points. In 2nd place with 76 points were Glen Randles, Steve O'Loughlin, Keith Francis & Roy Joynson and in 3rd place with 75 points Mark Doolan , John Cubbin, Peter Dodd & Howard Dodd. There were 6 twos worth £4.58 per player.
For those of you who couldn't attend the presentation for last year's winners a few weeks ago, I now have all the medals in the shop so you please could you collect them when you are next down.
I'm pleased to say the Greenstaff have managed to turf the front of the 10th this week please see attached photo. They have also managed to cut some of the fairways before Wednesday's rain as the course was drying out quite nicely. Just as Electric Trolleys were about to be allowed back on the course it started raining again.
The Ladies competition on Tuesday in bitter conditions was won with a great score in Div 1 by Barbara Henshaw with 33 points over 15 holes. Div 2 was won by Jan Evans with 27 points and Div 3 by Karen Munro with 28 points.
