Course update With the snow covering the course over the last few days I have no results for you this week. The course was a lot drier than I expected after the snow melted Tuesday night/Wednesday morning so hopefully the competition on Saturday will go ahead. We still have some slots available on both morning and afternoon Shotguns if you would like to play. The timesheet is also now out for the Festive Shotgun on Saturday 30th November which is a 8.30 am start. For those of you wishing to play or avoid the Steve Stewart Golf Day is on Thursday 28th and the tee will be reserved for that between 9.15 and 12.00 pm. Please contact Steve if you would like to play. With the poor weather at the moment we are trying to evaluate the course as quickly as possible but with it not being light till 8.00 am at the earliest it is impossible to walk the whole course to see what's playable by 8.30 am. Much as I love speaking to you all at 8.31!!!! when you phone to see what's open most of the time i wont know till 8.45/9.00. The website is updated as soon as we in the Pro Shop know. Once again with the wet weather I can envisage it being carrying only for a couple of days at least and I would encourage as many of you as possible to do this by taking half a set out with you. Looking at the forecast we may get a little bit of rain tonight so Saturdays competition should go ahead unless there is a a sudden change. |
