Scoring was very good once again last Saturday in the July Stableford with early starters Mark Kimpton, Scott Bligdon & Tony Pentland playing together all having great scores finishing with 41 pts, 40 pts and 39pts to finish 1st, 2nd & 4th with Jamie Thompson finishing 3rd with 40 pts after a card playoff.

Although the scoring wasnt as good in Div 2 it was very close with Steve O’loughlin beating Rod Backhouse and Ken Johnston on a card playoff with 36 points. The pins on the short holes must have been easy though! As there were 32 twos worth £3.90 each.

We have a couple of spaces left in the Team Open on Sunday if any of you would like to brings some guests and there are still spaces available in the 2nd Invitation on Sunday 17th August. We still have spaces available for this weeks Presidents Putter & next weeks Stableford Cup for those of you who haven't had a chance to get down recently or are on holiday at present.

This week the greens have been solid tined and dressed as we do each month and next month they will be hollowtined but this year with much smaller tines so the recovery time is much quicker. This will be done week starting Monday 18th August.
