John Mooney had his best score of the year with 41 pts to beat John Sadler on a card playoff to win Div 1 closely followed by Dale Heggarty on 39pts who beat Steve Stewart & Simon Taylor on a card playoff. Div 2 was also close with Tom Jones 40pts beating Alisdair Mackay on a card playoff. Bryn Jones was 3rd on 37pts beating Joe Clark & Peter Darch on a card playoff.

The Ladies Hancock Trophy was won by Margaret Nelson with 91-19-72 closely followed by the two Jans, Evans & Randles with net 73's.

We have a few gaps on Saturday for those of you not going or watching the Ryder Cup or the Liverpool/Everton game and the way they're both playing it could be 0-0 or 5-5.

The Winter League entries close this weekend so please get your entries in if you are wishing to play.
