On the course... The April Medal on Saturday was won by Paul Adams (79 - 12 = 67) after his purchase of the new PING G410 driver which I have a selection of for you to try until Tuesday. Runner-up was Tom Shannon (76 - 8 = 68) with Les Flanagan third (83 - 13 = 70). Division Two was won by Doug Reay (93 - 26 = 67) followed by Garry Molyneaux (89 - 20 = 69) with Phil Levell third (86 - 16 = 70), who beat Carl Syvret and Les Flanagan on a card play-off. There were 21 twos worth £8 each. Please remember if you have no money on your competition purse account you will not be able to book a tee time for the competition on Saturday ,4 May. The Masters competition on Sunday was won by Alan Taylor with 35 points on a card play-off from Peter Vaughan with Louise Mcloughlin third with 34 points on a card play-off from Dan Higgins and Phil Ashcroft. The Ladies Stableford on Tuesday was won in Division One by Amanda Dixon with 35 points. Division Two was won by Gill Arthur with 34 points and Division Three by Linda Simpson with the best score of the day of 40 points. The Junior Stableford last Friday was won by Dan Brown with 35 points followed by Padraig Ibrahim with 33 points. |
