Competition news

Festive Shotgun

The festive shotgun was won by Paul Littler, Dan Higgins, Dan McNicholas & Peter Vaughan with a great score of 88 points. in hot pursuit were Chris Harris, Mike Linwood John Boyd & Albert Davies with 85 points who beat Dennis Flynn, Dave Siddorn, Alun Price & Alan Croston on a card playoff.

The Twos were on holes 6 & 16 and there were 4 of them.

Upcoming Competitions

We still have spots available for the competition this Saturday and will be doing the sheets for the Shotgun on the 25th at 12.30 for the morning and 3.15 for the afternoon shotgun. The competition will be followed by the prize presentation to all Major winners from last year.

We will start using the Competition Purse again for the competition on Saturday, February 8th so please make sure you have money on it. We will also be booking 6 days in advance now not 15 so booking will be from 8.00pm on Sunday 2nd February.

The purse and the 6-day booking timeline will be in place for all allocated tee times for competitions for Ladies, Seniors and Men’s competitions for any competitions taking place after 1st February.

A bag for life

Following on from our article above, how many things are you trying to jam into your golf bag before every round? For us, a golf bag is so much more than something to lug your clubs around in; instead, it’s an extension of your locker with a place for everything you might need out on the course.

From lucky charms to hand cream, you name it and there’s a good chance a pro has carried it in their bag – well, their caddy to be more precise!
