Competition news

Stableford Cup

Congratulations to Andy Leadbetter who won the Stableford Cup last weekend with 40 points beating Steve Davies, Jacob McLoughlin, and Nige Skilling who finished with 39 points. Luke Brady won Division Two with 39 points just beating his Dad, Steve with 38 points (ps I’m not sure Steve made him walk home!)

Ron Tweedie was 3rd with 37 points who beat a host of others on a card playoff.

There were 49 Twos worth £4.75

Ladies 16th Medal

Amanda Dixon won the Ladies 16th Medal on Tuesday with 85-12=73 followed by Pam Mitchell with 97-23=74 and Karen Munro 3rd with 104-28=76.

Phil McEvoy Trophy

Terry Nelson convincingly won the Seniors Phil McEvoy Trophy on Monday with a great score of 43 points and had no complaints about the course afterwards! Sorry Terry I couldn’t resist.

In 2nd place was John Fishwick with 39 points who beat Andy Clark on a card playoff.

There were 12 Twos worth £6.65 each

Cancellations and No-Shows

Finally as you will all know the course is still very busy, and over the past couple of weeks, there have been some very late cancelations and a few no-shows.

Please, If you can’t play, cancel your tee time as soon as possible so other members have a chance to book, and please remember to pop into the shop to check-in so we know you have gone out to play.

The same also applies to the practice ground.

PING demo Equipment - LAST CHANCE

This is you last chance to be able to trial the new PING demo equipment, which are here until Tuesday next week.
