The winners of the Festive shotgun last weekend on a card playoff were Paul McCaffrey, John Robertson, Phil Holcroft & Ian Keelan with 81 pts from Clive Plummer Gary Cottrell, Alan Roberts & Steve Roberts. I'm glad everyone who played won a bottle of something as conditions were horrendous in the gale force winds. There were no twos on the 6th or 16th so I have included the 4th & 10th which worked out at £3.70 per player.

The Ladies American Scramble on Tuesday was won by Carol Gunn, Pam Darch, Sandra Davies & Enid Roberts with 47 pts from Caroline Berry, Margaret Nelson, Sue Simpson & El Robb who had 46pts.

Finally Rod will be doing a piece for next week but from Wednesday 21st January we will start playing the course in a slightly different order. We will play the first leaving trolleys the tee side of the bunkers then walking to the 16th tee to play the 16th and then to the 2nd tee to play the course in the normal order until after the 15th then playing 17th & 18th. This is to stop the wear to the left of the first green and round the 2nd tee.
