Course Update Following a significant effort from the volunteers just over a week ago, the divots across the entire course were filled in and the course was looking in great shape. Just 10 days later, there are lots of divots that have been taken. These are strewn across the course and are either the results of lazy members not replacing them or birds lifting them to seek out worms. Can you please make sure all your playing partners follow your example and replace all divots. You will have noticed widespread green stakes placed at strategic places on the course. These are NO-GO zones and are there to protect the course from being churned up. Unfortunately over the past few days I have seen members (not visitors) completely ignoring these. At the moment I can accept that many new members may not understand that these green stakes are effectively virtual ropes and must not be crossed. If you see a new member entering these no go zones with a trolley or buggy could you please advise them of their purpose? Thanks, Roger Hazlewood Chief Golf Officer |
