It was great to see Paul Waring featuring last week in Malaysia, eventually finishing 3rd making his best start to a season so far. Let's hope he can push on and finish in the top 60 at the end of the year. This week however he has withdrawn from the Thailand event after 14 holes so hopefully it's nothing serious. He is now due to have a few weeks off before the tour comes back to Europe in March.
Back here at Bromborough, we are now back on all the greens after the recent cold weather, so hopefully it will now stay above freezing. We have a few spots available for Saturday's Yellow Ball Competition if any of you want to play. We have now reverted back to normal tee times rather than 2 shotgun starts.
The Ladies Yellow Ball Competition on Tuesday was won by Enid Roberts, Gill Arthur & Pam Darch with 60 points followed by Margaret Nelson, Amanda Dixon & Jan Randles with 56 points.
In the shop the new Pro V1 has arrived so I have a few dozen of last year's left I am selling for £29.99 per dozen (while stocks last). On the new ball front, there will be a 4 Dozen for the price of 3 starting at the beginning of March. It's an offer that has gone very well for the last couple of years.
Also just in are the new PING range of Cadence Putters and Glide Wedges to compliment the G30 range. Over the coming weeks all the new clothing ranges will start arriving. This year we are stocking PING, FootJoy, Galvin Green adidas & Under Armour.
