Ladies Results for the Sue Harvey trophy that was held on Tuesday are as follows, Karen Munro returning a score of 40 points to win by four over Colinda Faulkner and Val Corcoran both with good scores of 36 points. 

Rob Cull still is his rich vain of form since he learnt what not to do when caddying for Tom at West Lancs in Open Qualifying earlier in the season. Rob won the Caldy Junior Open this week with a score of 72. Jack Price also on a run of form managed to shoot a 64 nett in the Caldy Junior Open to win the lowest nett prize. So another good week for Bromborough Juniors as they also managed to beat Wallasey in last Sundays team game with a score of 5-1.

For those of you who haven't been down recently the photo is of the Owl recently carved from the tree near the 10th green which has been kindly paid for and donated by a member.

Mens PPS held on Thursday, 6 August last week was won by Mark Kimpton with a score of 40 points, it was enough to beat a host of players on 38 points for the win. With another good turnout of 79 players we would like to thank everyone who played.

The Stableford Cup was possibly played in the calmest conditions we have had here at Bromborough for a competition for months! The scoring was evidence of that, With 40 points Colin Lewis took the top spot, followed by Phil Jordan and Andrew Neville both with 38 in Division 1. Division 2 belonged to Terry Devonald with a score of 39 and he was closely followed by Steve O'Donoghue and Dave Kirby. Once again thank you to everyone who played and we will see you hopefully all again for the August Stableford on the 22nd.

The Greenstaff will be solid tining and dressing next week so will have priority on the course so you may experience the odd temporary green now and again. Alistair Beggs is also visiting next week and I'm sure Rod will keep you up to date with what he has to say in the near future.
